Louis Vuitton - What Rubbish! ..??

After many umm.. minutes of playing on the 'Sexy City' Application on Facebook, I noticed one of the handbags for sale on the game at Barneys New York was the 'Louis Vuitton Urban Satchel'.. & I thought to myself is that rubbish stuck to a handbag? ... how fricken ugly!..

Ok so I might be a bit slow when it comes to fashion & a bit slow with the times, after all I am a single mother on a low income currently living in the sticks, who rarely watches tv might I add ;), but after numerous 'when in doubt google it' searches it would seem that people have been lead to believe that this infact is a real item! LOL... Far out.. Now here is an article from one site... people are so gullible, so figured I would be the first blog (ok maybe 2nd? ;P) to state why this is a fake and basically making a mockery of the 'patchwork handbags' by Louis Vuitton :

I hate to say it, but the $45,000 bag pictured above looks sooooo last season compared to the innovative design of the Urban Satchel.

OK here's where I come in to ruin anyone's hopes of owning & spending 150 grand on one of these pieces of junk...

For starters did anyone notice the name underneath the picture - LOUIE VUITTON ?

or how about the fact it states: Medium: Photoshop collage.

Does anyone not notice the crappy drop shadow effect on the picture & how badly photshopped Ashley Olsen is carrying the bag.. ok I'm a graphic designer maybe I would only notice this..

Did it state exactly what the rubbish items were made from? Do you think that a real shrimp tail stuck to a bag would not 'go off' and start to smell after awhile and you'd be followed by cats everywhere u went as it slowly started to disintergrate?

This particular description on a fashion website - New Luxury Items makes me laugh -

Charms of beauty?? Its amazing how you can have a label , name and price tag can make snotty fashion people believe that rubbish stuck to a metallic pink plastic looking handbag is beautiful!

I guess the dirty bandaid & crumpled ciggy packet attached was not enough to make people realise it is a joke & sending up other Louis Vuitton patchwork handbags which have been labelled as both ugly & extremely expensive ($45,000)

OK so I did a search of the urban satchel on the Louis Vuitton website, and no mention of it there.. what a shame I bet so many people out there wanted to own one of the 2 dozen that were supposably created.. lol

That's right... what a load of rubbish!
