'Dead alien' found in Siberian snow after 'glowing pink and blue lights' crash from sky

Quick ! Back to WTF NEWS! LOL I like to skip my blog topics from one thing to the next alot  :) I think my blog suffers from schizophrenia ;) but I do love reading/blogging about alien news.
What do you think???

Article Shared: NEWS.com.au

BELIEVE it or not - but you simply have to watch it. (video below)

Incredible footage has emerged of what a group of Russians claim is the remains of a mangled alien.
The Sun reports the lifeless "body" was found in snow in the Irkutsk region of southern Siberia following reports of a "pink and blue glowing object" which crashed from the sky. The "extra-terrestrial" appears to have lost a limb.
Even the country's Emergencies Ministry staff have investigated the incident after investigators said no aircraft were reported in the area.
Search and rescue teams found no evidence of an aircraft crash. So is it a fake? "Why do all aliens have to be naked?" one commentor pointedly asked. The strange clip of the discovery has now been seen by nearly 1.5 million people in the two days since it was uploaded on April 17. "FAIL. Sorry...so fake," another wrote. But the same writer was quick to qualify her comments.
"Do aliens exist? Certainly ... I believe they do. But not in this video."

FLOCKALPSE!

Mystery of Mass Bird and Fish Deaths

Flockalypse? Why did millions of black birds drop from the sky and fish wash up dead over New Years 2011? Was it a mere coincidence, what killed them and caused for so many 911 reports. Is this the end of the world, or just a lot of dead things ?

(with video)

Thousands of birds that fell dead from the sky on New Year's Eve in the US most likely died after they were frightened by loud noises, a bird expert says.
Residents in Beebe, Arkansas were alarmed when blackbirds began dropping from the sky shortly before midnight on New Year's Eve, mysteriously piling up on homes and gardens.
A state ornithologist has found the redwing blackbirds suffered trauma injuries indicating they had flown into something, USA Today reports.
"The birds obviously hit something very hard and had hemorrhages," Arkansas Game and Fish Commission ornithologist Karen Rowe said.
The state is also testing the birds to see if they were killed by chemicals or diseases.
Ms Rowe said those in the neighbourhood heard around 12 loud booming noises on New Year's Eve.
"They reported it sounding like a cannon on transformer exploding," she said.
State veterinarian George Badley said a resident saw a huge flock of frantic birds when he went outside to investigate the noises.
"He could hear the blackbirds fluttering around — he could hear their wings and he could hear them hitting into things," Badley said.
Blackbirds have poor night vision and they were likely killed because they banged into houses and trees in their fright.
The state is still investigating what caused the noises.
It is believed that the blackbird flock was frightened by the noises but would not fly up too high because of fireworks in the sky, Ms Rowe said.
"They were below the roof line, so they were hitting houses, mail boxes, chimneys and walls," Ms Rowe said.
Wildlife officers went to investigate reports that dead birds were falling from the sky at about 11pm on New Year's Eve.
"They told us there were birds falling out of the sky. After we verified that this wasn't some kind of prank, one of our wildlife officers went over there and sure enough, there were birds falling," the Game and Fish Commission's Keith Richards said.
Environmental Services officers picked up more than 2000 dead birds, mostly in the Windwood neighbourhood.
Mr Stephens said it was thought that more than 3000 birds died.
Redwing blackbirds are native to North America and tend to gather in large flocks during winter.
It was not a good weekend for wildlife in Arkansas.
Hundreds of thousands of fish were found dead in the Arkansas River about 200 kilometres away from Beebe a day before the birds were killed, KARK news reported.
Officials believe they were killed by disease because only one species — drum fish — was affected.

Children aged three and five get engaged

wow a bit extreme, some may think 'yeah that's cute' but why can't they wait until they are old enough to know what real love & being in a proper relationship is... it's more than just putting a ring on your finger because a child is lonely when the other leaves. Maybe these kids need more friends to play with ! LOL

Article Shared : NINEMSN
Hala and her fiancee Khalid have exchanged rings and plan to marry in 10 years when she is 12 and he is 15.

Their story has become a national talking point in Syria after the girl's father relayed the story of their engagement to the Akes Alser website.

The families of both children have won plaudits over the union — although they insist the children are in love and want to marry.

Khalid's father, Juma, said the boy was his only child from a 25-year marriage.

"I vowed to have my child engaged at the age of five if he was a boy and to marry him to a woman of his choice at the age of 15," he told Gulf News.

Juma said Khalid, from the town of Horns, 180km north of Damascus, fell in love with Hala within days of meeting her during a family trip to the port city of Latakia.

He claimed Khalid was so love-sick after parting from his young girlfriend that he refused to go back to his nursery unless little Hala came too.

"We did not know what to do till my wife called Hala's mother and asked her opinion about the case," Juma was quoted saying.

"She said her daughter had developed similar symptoms of loneliness and the family would be happy to see them engaged."
Juma bought rings for the young ones and both families held a celebration in Latakia.
The father has even vowed to cover the education expenses of both children until they graduate from school.
"We know that Khalid or Hala might change their mind in the future, but what we do know at this stage is that they are very happy and talk to each other everyday," Juma told Gulf News.
According to Syria's English-language Forward Magazine, Syrian marriages are traditionally arranged at an early age for both males and females.
When a boy turns 16, or when he reaches puberty, his female relatives begin searching for a suitable wife around the age of 12 or 13.
If prospects are limited, a matchmaker is hired and together they go knocking on the doors of nearby homes and asking: "Do you have girls for marriage"?

'Creepy gnome' terrorises town

Article Shared from The Sun

A TOWN in South America is living in fear after several sightings of a 'creepy gnome' that locals claim stalks the streets at night.

The midget - which wears a pointy hat and has a distinctive sideways walk - was caught on video last week by a terrified group of youngsters.
Teenager Jose Alvarez - who filmed the gnome - yesterday told national newspaper El Tribuno that they caught the creature while larking about in their hometown of General Guemes, in the province of Salta, Argentina.

He said: "We were chatting about our last fishing trip. It was one in the morning.

"I began to film a bit with my mobile phone while the others were chatting and joking.
"Suddenly we heard something - a weird noise as if someone was throwing stones.

"We looked to one side and saw that the grass was moving. To begin with we thought it was a dog but when we saw this gnome-like figure begin to emerge we were really afraid."

Jose added that other locals had come forward to say they had spotted the gnome.
He said: "This is no joke. We are still afraid to go out - just like everyone else in the neighbourhood now.
"One of my friends was so scared after seeing that thing that we had to take him to the hospital."

Why is the gnome so creepy? It doesn't look very scary but it doesn't look like it can walk to well either. This story has got me thinking where did gnomes originate?
Gnomes first appeared in the works of Paracelsus, who lived in Switzerland during the 16th century. He was a doctor, astrologer, alchemist, and botanist. Paraclesus used gnomes as another name for pygmies, which are beings from mythology and one of the four elements. The elements are earth, air, fire, and water. Gnomes are earth elements, sylphs are air, salamanders are fire, and undines are water. Read More

Some info according to the Fairy Chronicles: }
Real gnomes are earth spirits who make flowers, plants, trees, crystals, and minerals grow. They add colors to nature and work with fairies to ensure the protection of the earth’s treasures. Gnomes have the ability to disguise themselves so they can go about their business undetected. To regular humans, gnomes look like an ordinary object such as a tree stump, a watering can, or an acorn squash. Therefore, there have never been any real gnome sightings by humans!
well maybe they need to update their website :)
Isaac just asked me after seeing that video if it was Santa or one of his elves? lol See he wasn't scared! hahaha

'Euthanised' pet dog wakes up the next day!

A pet dog in the US has stunned her owners after she was "put down" by a vet — only to wake up alive the next day.

(watch video )
Matt Olivarez, from Michigan, said a tearful goodbye to his 10-year-old Rottweiler Mia as he watched the vet inject her twice with a lethal cocktail of drugs, the WXYZ-7 News website reports.
He then took her body home in a blanket so that he could bury her the next day.
But Mr Olivarez said when he returned to where he had left her body in the garage the next morning it was gone.
Instead, he turned to find her standing on all fours, staring at him.
"For her to just wake up the next morning is very crazy. I watch scary movies. It was like a scene from Pet Sematary," he was quoted by the website as saying.
Mia, who suffers from spinal problems so severe she is unable to walk, may now need to be given another lethal injection to put her down but Mr Olivarez said he was not sure if he could go through with the procedure twice.
A veterinarian who works at the clinic where Mia was "put down" told Fox News the business was trying to examine all the facts in the case to determine what happened.
The clinic has promised to give Mr Olivarez a refund and apologised.

The dreaded MAN FLU!

Article Shared - NEWS.com.au

  • Scientists confirm 'man flu'

  • Cold becomes 'flu'; headaches are 'migraines'

  • It turns out half of men may upgrade a common cold to the flu, and headaches become migraines.
Yes, "man flu" really does exist, with scientists confirming men are often not as ill as they say they are.

But Kendall Cordes, 37, says this isn't rocket science, it's something she - and almost every woman she knows - has experienced first-hand.

She wakes every morning to a running commentary of her partner Christopher Lynch's latest ailments.

The Box Hill mother of two said she did not seem to get sick nearly as often as her other half.

"I don't have time to get sick. If you're feeling a little bit crappy you just get on with it," Ms Cordes said.

Ms Cordes, an accountant, said her sympathy had worn a little thin, because it normally meant more work for her.

"In the beginning (of the relationship) I was perhaps a little more inclined to make him chicken soup and do all the nice things, but now I'm more like, are you serious? Again?"

Mr Lynch, 40, admitted his colds always became flu, headaches were migraines, and when it came to a hangover, he was definitely at death's door.

Mr Lynch, a plumber, magnified his illnesses to his partner so he could get sympathy and to get out of housework.

"If I've got a headache, I'll go and lie down, and it's probably not that bad but it gets me out of doing the dishes," he said.

Monash University psychologist Gordon Walker said men tended to confide mostly in their partners, so it was not surprising they bore the brunt of whingeing.

But when it came to going to the doctor, men were reluctant patients and tended to tough it out more, Dr Walker said.

The latest research has found half of men upgrade their ailments to gain maximum sympathy.

They will also moan more than women when suffering a bug or virus, the British researchers found.

This is despite the fact they catch fewer colds and flu each year - five compared with women's average of seven.

The study of 3000 people did find that women are more likely to mention minor ailments every day.

"Men have had bad press concerning their tendencies towards 'man flu', but our findings support the belief that men do moan more and are more likely to exaggerate their symptoms," said Karl Elliott of Engage Mutual Assurance, which commissioned the research.

"They may have fewer bouts of genuine sickness a year, but when ill, their attention-seeking behaviour makes sure their partner knows about it."

According to the women surveyed, almost half of men exaggerate their symptoms, while just 40 per cent of men said the same of their partners. Women reported that 66 per cent of men were constantly moaning.

THE COLD HARD TRUTH - Does man flu exist?

    HE SAYS

"Yes, I think it exists. I have mates who are always sick, and telling people how sick they are for attention."
James Bryant, 35, Princes Hill, Melbourne

"Yeah, I think men are bigger sooks. It pays though, we get looked after. We recover sooner. Good survival skills. It even goes back to caveman times."
    Ben Isbel, 20, Brisbane

"I don't think it exists. Just an excuse for laziness. I reckon it's just those pansy guys, they need to toughen up."
    Tommy Ho, 18, Keysborough, Melbourne

"No. Some blokes are just whiners. They want to get out of work, more attention from the missus. If I get sick I have to keep on working."
Simon Fernleigh, 32, Ferntree Gully, Melbourne

"Yeah, I suffer from that, so the missus will look after me better. She will usually will say get back to work otherwise. I think 90 per cent of Australian men do it too."
Joel Pontin, 35, Airport West, Melbourne

    SHE SAYS

"Yeah. A close family friend, whenever he is sick, he can't cook, do the dishes, can't do anything pretty much. I know a lot of macho blokes who do it."
    Clare Keogh, 18, Spotswood, Melbourne

"Definitely. I have a husband and two sons. Whenever they are sick they are dying. If a woman gets sick, she has to keep on going."
    Gill Richardt, 50, Somerville, Vic

"Men exaggerate of course. A man can die from a common cold. I think they have a lower threshold for pain and suffering than women."
    Tori Bailey, 28, Rockhampton, Qld

"Yes, sometimes they are just big babies. They are always the ones to call in sick at work. The term "man flu" is quite fitting though."
    Alicia Jordinson, 25, Hornsby, Sydney

"I think it only exists in winter when it is relevant. In my eyes, it's the only thing that they can get away with. Women do it too sometimes."
    Janine Procter, 22, Frankston, Melbourne

Sony Playstation tattoo machine seized at UK detention centre

    Article Shared - NEWS.com.au

AN inmate at a British detention centre was caught offering tattoos - using a machine he rigged up from a Sony Playstation.
The Sun said the detainee stripped down a console and attached its motor to a ballpoint pen with its tip sharpened to drive ink into the skin.
His homemade gizmo was seized along with a tattoo magazine from his room at Brook House Immigration Removal Centre near Gatwick, West Sussex.
Sources claim he charged other detainees to use it - but officials denied this.
A source said: "It was a truly bizarre piece of DIY, up there with some of the most extraordinary finds staff have made.
"When it was switched on it would move up and down like a real tattoo gun. But you would have to be daring to want a tattoo from a machine like that."
The Border and Immigration Agency said the device was seized during a routine check of rooms.
A spokesman said: "No further action was taken, but staff have been made aware so they can be vigilant for anything similar."
The centre holds 426 men - many awaiting deportation after jail for crimes in the UK.
They are allowed PlayStation 1 and 2 consoles, but not the PlayStation 3 model because it can connect to the internet.
Guards in US jails have found tattoo guns made from Nintendo consoles.

Mother almost killed by N cup breasts

    • Mother's breasts grew to N cup size
    • Doctors cut 35 pounds from her chest
    • Fear that breasts would squash her lungs

A PERUVIAN mother-of-four was trapped in her bed for six months because of her giant breasts.
The Sun reported that Julia Manihuari's chest grew to a gigantic N cup after the birth of her third son seven years ago - leaving her unable to move.
"It was awful. If I tried to get up I would faint because my breasts were so heavy," she said.
Ms Manihuari, 29, who lives in northern rural Peru, was finally helped when local media paid for her to take a three-day boat trip to the nearest town for medical help.
Doctors diagnosed an extreme form of Bilateral Gynecomastia - an illness where the mammary gland keeps growing.
They had to cut 35 pounds of flesh from her breasts, fearing they could squash her lungs and kill her.
Ms Manihuari emerged as a size 34B after the six-hour operation.
"Before the operation I couldn't do anything - I just had to live with it. It got so bad that my breasts were touching my legs," she said.
"I have always had a small build, and the stress on the rest of my body was agony."
Read more about Julia Manihuari's breast ordeal at The Sun.

Autistic Artist draws cities from memory

Artist to draw Sydney from memory
Talent discovered when he was just five
    Diagnosed with autism at three-years-old
Artist Stephen Wiltshire drawing the New York landscape from memory. This week he will attempt Sydney's skyline

Article Shared from NEWS.com.au - Weird True Freaky

AN ARTIST who can draw a city skyline after looking at it for a few minutes is set to take on Sydney.

Stephen Wiltshire will arrive in Australia this week to show off his extraordinary talent for drawing cities in intricate detail.

The 36-year-old artist, who was diagnosed with autism when he was three, hopes to produce a poster-size pen and ink drawing of the harbour city after examining its skyline for just 20 minutes.

He's already impressed many around the world with his large-scale intricate panoramas of New York and London.

Before drawing those two world-famous cities, he memorised the position and size of hundreds of buildings and landmarks while on 20-minute helicopter rides.

His four-metre long panorama of London on a curved canvas took five days to complete in 2007, with not one sneak peak at a photograph of the city for help.

Last October he followed up with a jaw-dropping 5.5 metre-long drawing of New York City, including the Empire State Building, which took just three days.

When he arrives in Australia, one of Mr Wiltshire's first stops will be Sydney Tower so he can gain a birdseye view of the skyline before getting down to work at Customs House on Tuesday.

Sitting in his tiny studio perched in a loft above his gallery on London's famous Pall Mall, the quietly spoken artist is excited about his first visit to Australia.

"I have never been there before," he said.

"I wanted to go because it's a nice, beautiful city. It's going to be amazing."

Mr Wiltshire has been invited to Sydney by Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect) to mark Autism month.

His arrival was delayed by more than a week because of the recent disruption to air travel in Europe following the Icelandic volcano eruption.

While he won't decide on what exactly will be in his Sydney drawing until the last minute, he admits remembering all the detail of a city's skyline is difficult even though he makes it look relatively easy.

"I find it hard work to put in lots of information in just a few days," he said.

"Sometimes it's hard to remember because there's lots of detail.

"My favourite is New York. They have the big avenues and lots of yellow taxi cabs. The traffic is chaotic and it's full of people."

Stephen's amazing talent for drawing was discovered when he was just five years old and sketching London's double decker buses.

His family and teachers soon discovered that his art work was one of the key ways he could communicate.

By age nine he had moved on to St Paul's Cathedral, the Houses of Parliament and Tower Bridge.

His works were so good that Sir Hugh Casson of the Royal Academy described him as "the best child artist in Britain".

Then as a teenager his attention switched to American cars such as Cadillacs and Buicks before enrolling as a fine arts student at City & Guilds.

In 2006, he was awarded an MBE for services to art by Prince Charles.

Aspect's education and research executive director, Dr Trevor Clark, hopes Mr Wiltshire's talents will help raise awareness of the one in 160 Australian children with autism.

"Stephen's talent is rare, but he highlights how important it is for potential to be realised and developed from an early age and how this can help with developing independence and self expression,'' he said.
